The Cybercrime Cell of Delhi Police has warned citizens against this cybercrime through Twitter.

The state police has shared suggestions about how users can avoid these scams. Police has said that one should use the official email ID of the company concerned to share the complaint. At the same time, you can also file a complaint by calling the customer care service number. The post also warns that no bank / wallet / airline company asks for a refund to a user’s financial credentials. Also, users are not asked to share their ATM PIN, OTP or password.
