Samsung has rolled out the latest update for its Galaxy A series popular smartphone Galaxy A50. In this update being rolled out in Thailand, the company is offering the Android Security Patch of February 2021. The latest update is based on Android 10 and in addition to security patches, some system updates are also being provided.
The company is rolling out this update with firmware number A505FDDU6BUAA. This update is being rolled out in batches in Thailand. The company can rollout this update for other markets as well.
Galaxy A50 features and specifications
The phone has a 6.4-inch full HD + Super AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution. The aspect ratio of the display is 19.5: 9. This phone with waterdrop notch display design also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Exynos 9610 processor has been given in this phone with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB internal storage. The Galaxy A50 has a triple rear camera setup for photography. It has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 25-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. This phone also has a 25-megapixel camera for selfie.
To give power to the phone, it has a 4000mAh battery, which supports fast charging of 15 watts. For connectivity, the phone has features such as Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, headphone jack, NFC and Type-C port with dual band Wi-Fi.
