TRAI released Telecom Subscription Data in the past, according to which Vodafone-Idea (Vi) lost 56 lakh subscribers in December 2020, after which the total number of Vodafone-Idea users across the country has gone up to 269 million, ie Rs 26.9 crore. At the same time, Airtel ended the year 2020 by adding 4 million new customers to its network and thus by December 2020, the total number of subscribers of Airtel has increased to 336 million i.e. 336 million. At the same time, Reliance Jio continues to flourish and after adding 4.78 lakh new subscribers to Jio in December 2020, the total number has increased to 410.8 million, i.e. 41.8 crore. The government telecom operator BSNL lost 2.5 lakh users in December 2020.
Airtel’s most active subscribers
Whatever things have been seen in TRAI’s December 2020 report, it has been said that more than Airtel is more active than Reliance Jio. According to the TRAI report, out of the total 387 crore users of Airtel, 328.87 crore users are active, i.e. a total of 97. 1% people are availing the service of Airtel. At the same time, Vodafone Idea is second in this list and its 90.2% subscribers are active. In this case, Reliance Jio is on the third position and only 80 per cent of its subscribers are active.

Talking about the market share of major telecom operators in India, Jio has the highest market share of 35.43%. After this Airtel has a market share of 29.36% and Vodafone-Idea has a market share of 24.43%. Government company BSNL has a market share of just 10.29%.
