After making a big dent in the Indian telecom sector, Reliance Jio is now working on making India’s cheapest 5G smartphone, which can cost less than Rs 2,500. At the same time, now the company has announced that the Jio 5G network will be introduced in the middle of 2021 next year. However, no information has been revealed about any date.

It is expected that, like every year, the company will launch the 5G service at the next General Annual Meeting (AGM) that takes place in August. However, no official comment has come on this matter yet. Mukesh Ambani said in a statement that Reliance Jio is preparing to launch 5G service in the second half of 2021. For this, however, there is a need for policy changes and expediting the process. He said that unless it is made easier and cheaper by policy, its access to all is not possible. Let me tell you that a few months ago, in a virtual event in San Diego, USA, demonstrated its 5G service. During this event, Reliance Jio President Matthew Oman said at the Qualcomm event that together with Qualcomm and Reliance’s Subsidiary Radisys, we are working on 5G technology so that it can be launched in India soon.

After this testing, India has joined the list of elite countries that can provide 1 Gbps speed to their users. On July 15 this year, Reliance Jio owner Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of 5G technology at the general assembly of Reliance Industries.
